they didn't for mine either, i did that by feeding it to chatgpt and asking it to give me my strengths and weaknesses with quotes from the feedback sheet
could you post what range of responses you got, i want to see if i can reconstruct a grading scale and if any strengths in one area were mirrored by a weakness in a different area (indicating that the questions had more of a personality test sort of approach for these questions; which is my...
I think, as i said above, this is for recruiters to get a sense of which areas you lean into, im not sure if its possible to get a perfect score for the traits section. I would assume they look for the weaknesses suggested by this section and then see if they are shown as strengths elsewhere.
I think for some of them its a bit ambiguous and there isn't a clear 'correct' answer. I get the feeling that these ones are so they get a sense of your personal key assessment qualities, like "will you show adaptability here, or resilience, or organisation, or drive and motivation'

Curious about SJT A&O feedback, what kind of things did people get, is it possible to get a perfect score in terms of the assessment qualities?
I'd be curious to know what people are able to get?
Below is each section with the relevant quoted section from the feedback. Also, I have...
These people spend a lot of money making sure their websites reflect them, my logic is go see what they want you to notice, act like a client, and dont assume something isn't worth mentioning, if its up there then there is probably a reason for it.
This is an opportunity to research the firm, they are selling themselves to the client, so there must be something obvious on their webpage (designed for clients) that covers this

Lol just did one of my two video recordings, had ten seconds spare and it was a little awkward, i started rambling about how i broke up the question into three parts and then it cut me off. Up to that point it was fine though :s
Was asked about checking for typos using ai
Be very careful, I used chatgpt, but you can't fully rely on it, for example it changed a company name I worked at from Sandersons to Sanderson. Also SPECIFY UK ENGLISH (assuming you are english) because it will look weird if there is irregular...
I think you are misunderstanding me, the written section im referring to is the experiences section. For the situational section, the sjt leads into the video questions, but you can leave and reopen at anytime before the deadline (at least thats what they told me). They record you throughout the...
Just wanted to flag some potential stumbling blocks for the a&o shearman application process
Firstly, I noticed that while we were encouraged to write without strict word limits, there appears to be a hard limit around 616 words in the submission boxes (at least for me there was). This wasn’t...
Does anyone know how they view some typos, the application encourages you to write as much as possible, but when you actually paste your responses into the boxes it cuts it off at around 600 words, so the actual stuff in the boxes I didn't check as closely as the text i had on my drafting page...
Thanks I’ll polish up what I have and send it through .you might be right, might only be able to focus on one of the points I run through. I’ll send it you later thanks so much.
I was wondering about sharing my experience section here. It might be helpful but I’m in an exam mindset where I’m...
it helps telling the story if you communicate the skills they are looking for in a problem->solution->result framework. This lets them see all the skills that are relevant while talking about your experiences
