Yes, I hit the benchmark and also averaged 84% in my first year of my degree. I also had extenuating circumstances so it’s an interesting one. But going to focus on my exams and then rejoin the application cycle next time I reckon
HSF PFO. Not too sure if it is because I changed courses as I received an AC invite the previous time that I applied. Bit gutting but going to focus on my exams and most likely rejoin the application cycle next time where I will be eligible for all schemes (as I am a non-law student)
Received an email from HSF that I scored over the benchmark and my application is now under review ✅ Very happy as my personality test feedback seemed rather weird when I was automatically sent to me yesterday!
I’ve just completed the HSF online assessment - It was different to what I have done before as it did not contain a verbal reasoning test. Do they send any emails out once you have completed the test to indicate if you have passed or not?
This is absolutely incredible and a massive congratulations to you :) I would email HSF and ask if you could attend the Spring or Summer Vacation Scheme - I am sure they will be accommodating since you have already succeeded in your interviews so I bet they would love to have you on at least one...
It’s really difficult, but trusted my gut and went with what seemed right. Definitely do the practice questions that they provide access to beforehand :)
My Internet went down when I was completing the Herbert Smith Freehills assessment and so it skipped a few questions. I cannot tell how many nor can I go back to previous questions. I have emailed the Early Careers team to explain the situation but am worried now
Currently writing my application for Herbert Smith Freehills’ Summer Vacation Scheme and hoping to have it submitted by the end of tomorrow. I am nervous as I was so close previously and received an Assessment Centre offer. However, I had to withdraw due to health reasons but let’s see how this...
I have been quite unwell so haven’t yet started my application journey. My plan is to start from tomorrow and just power through - I aiming to apply for Spring and Summer Vacation Schemes. I have exams in January so realised that Winter Vacation Schemes most likely wouldn’t be ideal as I have...
my CV is two pages - think as long as it’s no more than two pages then it should be allowed. ideally, it should be one page but i’m the same as you and can’t fit all of the work experience into one page. just make sure that you use a good format, bullet point and quantify key achievements
