I honestly dont think they will. There's no way to go through everyone's WGs, send out VIs with time to prepare in between, and decide who goes through to ACs by May 16...
Do people reckon it's a PFO from Bakers if we haven't received an update on whether we made it through to the WG? The VIs are supposed to be happening in March and April (per the email we got after applying) and April is half-way through...
Has anyone received anything from Baker today or yesterday? They're being very quiet and I wonder if it's because it's their VS right now and it ends next week (makes me wonder if they'll make us wait until after that is over for WG or even VI invites)
I applied on the deadline and am still waiting. they said they are sending invites until around mid April, which to me translates as today being the cut-off
I asked them at an event and they said they open up direct TC appos because their vac scheme is unusually long (3 weeks) and they understand not everyone can afford to take that time out of work.
I'm surprised as well, but I appreciate that they seem to be sending out invites for ACs and rejections together. Hate it when firms make you wait 6 years to find out you've been rejected.n
I'm surprised they don't do at least a small feedback note for the WG. Considering this is their only step before an AC, in my experience, other firms do give some sort of feedback at this stage, even if generic...
