I am really glad that you feel a lot better! How many firms have you applied to? Do you have friends who are future trainees/with offers who could have a look at your application? Don't worry about not hearing back. I have seen it said over and over on here that all it takes is one application...
Guys, I don't know if I am making this sht up, but I have been applying for non-law jobs to fill up the gap year, right, and I have realised that we are kind of spoiled with how structured our (legal industry) recruiting is! Most non-law recruiters never get back and it's so hard to get their...
Thank you so much!! It's honestly so nice knowing I am not alone in feeling this way. Getting to AC stage is also a lotttt of time invested so I completely get why it was worse for you. their loss honestly. and likewise, here if you ever want to rant about anything
It's tough, isn't it. I have also been thinking about how hard it is with regards to having to know exactly what areas interest you and then you don't even know if you will qualify into the right seat for you and there's just so much that is unknown/simply out of your control. I guess I better...
So I have already shared this elsewhere on the platform, but basically I am having to re-record one of my interviews (technical issues). Trying not to panic since the questions will be reset and I have no clue what they will ask me since the 2 questions I got last time were standard law type...
Hey, they send a link to practice as well so I recommend making use of that. If I recall correctly, you get 20 seconds to prepare and 60 to record your response. 2 questions. Motivational. They may use different structure/questions for different batches though so just prepare well! :) Good luck <3
Let me know when you hear back from them! Well done for getting it done :) and yeah it's literally a minute of just talking as quickly as possible like bro I don't time myself speaking in real life. It's just a weird way to interview candidates imo
Is anyone else getting worried about fking up the interviews and thinking of making more back-up applications just out of desperation? I don't strictly have the time but also I am not sure how my VIs are going to be next week :/
One more question re CRS. On their application form, I submitted first preference for the spring scheme and left second preference blank as it's very likely I won't be in the UK during the summer. Is this something that's likely to impact the outcome of my application post VI?
