Does anyone have tips regarding how to nail competency questions in video interviews? I always just end up waffling and giving long winded answers..... i dont know how to pass the video interview stage lol
usually you aren't but there's a few firms that allow it- Macfarlanes and Freshfields are two of them I believe. I know they do formally allow it but also not sure if anyone has been successful with a TC after being rejected from a VS in the same cycle....would be interesting to know if anyone...

When discussing why you want to work for an American law firm, is it ok to mention work that the American offices are involved in (but the london office isnt involved in it) or should you only mention work pertaining to london office?

Once you meet the benchmark (2:1), do you guys think firms place a lot of importance on where you fall within the 2:1 range? As in could your position on the range be a reason you aren't selected for the next stage even though your application is a strong?
Anyone heard from linklaters? My account got locked because I forgot my login details and I emailed Grad Recruitment last week about that but no response. Could my account being locked prevent me from getting correspondence from them or has no one heard back?
