I'd say there's no harm in asking - the worst that will happen is that they'll just say they can't tell you and you just have to prepare for different scenarios
how would you answer the question "what sectors do we operate in and how?" in an interview? I think the 'how' part is confusing me!
Also, has anyone been asked a question in an interview about the developments in a specific sector that the firm operates in? how did you answer this?

guys I'm prepping for a video interview and I was thinking about the question 'why law' - is this the same as 'why commercial law?' or 'why international commercial law?'
furthermore, if I'm applying to an international commercial law firm, would they even ask me 'why law' or would it be implied...
I was the same - I inquired with loads of firms before I applied and most of them said they wouldn't give me the option of a virtual AC/Interview and |I was in China, so like yourself, it wasn't really an option to come back
