    If the Q specifically says why law, I’d outline broadly why law appeals to me and then I’d segue into ‘why commercial law’ maybe 30 seconds afterwards.

    Anyone have an idea on how long Travers cover letter is ideal for grad rec? Generally I keep it to 1 A4 sheet - around 400 words; has anything been said to the contrary?

    Please correct me if I’m wrong but I believe letter grade is just 2:2, 2:1 etc. Also, are you sure your set score isn’t a percentage in itself? E.g. if you get a ‘score’ of 65 that’s a 2:1 and 65%.

    Mayer Browns situational testing was one of the most tedious that I have experienced; though I suppose I shouldn’t complain with the lack of application questions - but I will anyway.

    White and Case is one that I’m more confused about… They say they hire on a rolling basis so unless literally no one from this entire forum has applied I’m rather confused as to how no one has heard anything from them.

    Lemme guess, being aired post interview by Reed Smith, Clyde and Co? post app airing by White and Case and Linklaters? - it’s been a lovely Christmas break but I need to get my head in the game. Out of 5 applications: 1 VI 3 post SJT/Watson that I haven’t heard a peep from and one PFO from A&O
