I think it's completely reasonable to ask.
On a side note, people being scared of prioritising their own health (whatever it is) over some stupid interviews is what is really wrong with this profession. It should not really be like that.
I think the MA will not hurt your chances and being at Cambridge is a fantastic experience (difficult to admit this for an Oxonian haha) so I would 100% go for it.
There will likely be no impact whatsoever; I have 2:2 and even some 3rds and still get invited to ACs at MC firms. As long as you are on track for a 2:1 you are 100% fine
If you want to be 100% honest then you could explain the mistake and why the mistake happened. But it is unlikely anyone will ever found out that the dates are not super correct.
