I know it is quite odd, but maybe once you do the WG, they don't give out AC invites until after the deadline? I can't think of any other way 'non-rolling' would make sense.- lawyersum

As my other legal work experiences are more pro bono, legal aid etc, I really want to use these events to explain what I did (Case studies, interactive workshops)...- lawyersum

I'm by no means an expert but the application also requires you to give a 400 word personal statement, so that would ideally be the best chance for you to take some of your experiences/skills and tailor them to the firm.
