They said that they screen on a rolling basis but don't fill up spaces until after the deadline. They were reassuring about applications submitted even on the deadline day. So do not worry - you won't be too late!
Hello,
I keep getting emails for virtual events and office hours between 5-7 each Wednesday. Unfortunately, I can never make that time because it's right in the middle of one of my PGDL modules.
Are these sessions recorded?
According to their website, CMS says that a successful two weeks on their Insight Scheme may mean one is invited to an assessment centre for a training contract.
Any idea what the chances are of this happening or is their Insight Scheme rather unassociated with a training contract?
I saw someone post a couple of weeks ago that it’s technically not but they pretty much invite everyone unless you didn’t answer the q. Not sure how they know that though…
Nevertheless, congrats if you’ve been invited!
Hello! I have a something that I’d love to have help with.
Norton Rose Fulbright rejected me for their WVS last week. However, they said that I can still apply in the 2023/2024 window (seems like they do this for everyone).
I have two questions really:
(i) What can I do to improve my...
After getting passed the application screening, I got rejected from NRF post Arctic Shores for their Winter Vac Scheme.
However, they said that I can still apply within the 2023-2024.
Do I need to change my application (especially the cover letter) if I apply later in this cycle for a summer...
Does anyone know what the seat options are during a TC at 2Birds? I can't find it anywhere on their website and graduate recruitment aren't responding.
I'm especially wondering whether there are mandatory seats and/or TMT option.
Thank you @Jessica Booker, really reassuring. Do you recommend that I also include why I am interested in Bird & Bird beyond the training contract (e.g., their expertise in IP & AI) - answering the second question a little more?
I have a question for a 2Birds application.
One of the questions is: What attracts you to a Trainee Solicitor role at Bird & Bird? What is motivating you to pursue a career at Bird & Bird? (300 words)
Shall I follow the usual - (i) why commercial law; (ii) why Bird&Bird; (iii) why me?
Or, is...
I'm sorry if this has been asked before (but I can't find it on here), does anyone know what the seat rotations/options are at Bird & Bird? It's not clear to me from their website...
Hi Jaysen, thank you so much for this.
There are two SH contacts at the bottom of the article. Is it worth having a brief (bullet pointed (?)) section at the top of my summary including these contacts, the parties of focus in the article and key points?
Thank you.
I have the same thing, but if you look at the end of the application, it asks you to submit your preferred placement scheme dates - between winter, spring, summer 1 + 2.
