That's what I've done in the past, or if they've got an extra box for additional work experience/open days/misc work experience you could put it there as well
I do!
Personally Dentons WG I didn't find too hard. It's not dissimilar to the AssessmentDay or Job Test Prep/Pearson Vue ones. The questions are very standard.
My personal approach was to practice practice practice, and also make sure I understood exactly what the questions were looking for...
OMG this is super lucky someone else is in the same situation and what a coincidence because I think mine also may be in disputes... 🤣 I know it would be amazing experience (and I guess help with the LPC later down the line as well) but I guess I'm kind of daunted by the idea of it since I have...
This is a very niche question, but is anyone here a final year LLB/on GDL future trainee (or making plans for being a future trainee) and is doing/planning to do paralegal work with the firm they're going to train with? I think I might be offered an opportunity to do so (previously was planning...
I realise my post might have come across a little bit insensitive, I was trying to be a bit jokey about my experience but I think it came out wrong 🤣 This is my second cycle, where (edit: in my first cycle) I got a VS offer then a Direct TC AC/interview that I didn't get to complete due to...
as far as I know one of the members of their GR team has just left (have her on LinkedIn) so that might be the reason everyone is hearing back so late compared to earlier in the cycle when turnaround was really quick. I think the UKGR team may be only 2 people now
The firm finally sent my documents!!!!!! Just committed to my TC after signing it... rejecting everything else now is too nerve wracking, I never thought I would be doing this 😂 😂 😂 😂 although writing 'future trainee' on LinkedIn feels so good
It really varies because GR always has the capacity to be flexible. They do 2 VSs for London and recruit 24 trainees per year for that office so I would think not too much more than 20 on each scheme, this is just me guessing though. For MK the cohort is a lot smaller.
If you're applying to MK you should apply for the VS because they take very few of their intake from there for direct TC. If you're more interested in London they take more from the direct route for that office!
They are very fast in my experience and yes they are rolling! I got a TC offer with them this cycle from the VS interview so happy to help with any qs!
Yeah that's how I got it! I was also thinking along the lines of maybe they'll get round to it when they made the TC offers for their Spring VS, which finished last week, so they can give out all of the offers within the same timeframe, but I don't actually know when they do that or if they wait...
the firm that offered me a TC a month ago still hasn't sent me the documentation even though i've made clear to them verbally that my intention is to accept and i've rejected other offers to do so - this is my anxiety talking but do you guys think I should email them next week (it'll be 5 weeks...
It's always good to look at legal cheek rankings but they're obviously subjective - as far as I know they're based off of reported trainee experiences and opinion rather than assessed by some sort of objective standard. So while you might feel like you really connected with the firm, there might...
I would be very surprised if a job rejected you for not being a native English speaker if you spoke English at a near-native level, especially if you can speak the other foreign languages because I think it's quite rare for native English speakers in this countries to do so
