Hopefully one day these firms have Vacation Schemes and Training Contracts: Boies Schiller Flexner; Cahill, Gordon & Reindel; Cravath, Swaine & Moore; Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett; Quinn Emanuel; Wachtell, Rosen, Lipton & Katz.
Rejected from Willkie Farr's open day. I guess that makes sense, honestly. I got their written exercise once. Focusing on different firms makes sense. Mostly successful with white shoe firms. However, that's a small group obviously.
That varies so much by firm. I've had 18% (I didn't convert). I've had 50% before (converted it). You can often work that out. Find out how many ACs on. Find out how many at each. Then compare to VS spaces etc.
Today's update: there are no updates.
To apply to
Arnold & Porter
Winston & Strawn
Sullivan & Cromwell
Fried Frank
Freshfields
Paul Hastings
McDermott, Will & Emery
That should not be an issue. I cut out in Travers interview. They get that tech often fails. Some firms get Ds for Legal Tech. This is Legal Cheek survey data. Things not working =/= your fault. At least not all the time.
Some direct TC apps to UK firms. US firms pay more hence they get most of my attention. I’ve never had any luck with MC firms really. US firms I’m weirdly successful with - last cycle I got Latham AC, W&C AC and Ropes VS. UK firms don’t want me it would seem. This time neither type of firm seems to.
Thanks. I’m no more blunt than some of the lawyers I’ve met. Plus the updates are meant for encouragement. People may well feel put off by them, but I post them to hold myself accountable, no one else.
100% unlikely - someone will mess up. Slaughters’ Easter scheme may have changed. I appreciate people’s feedback on here. I’m not in a good place. This forum is very useful honestly.
