Hey @legally confused,
I am so sorry you are feeling this way, but, as the above responses from other members of the community have reinforced, you have nothing to fear! I have three bits of advice for you :)
First, I want to congratulate you on achieving that TC - that was the biggest feat...
Hey everyone!
I have decided to restart our giveaway for a free month of TCLA Premium (Bronze) every week. You will also receive a new badge titled 'Forum Winner'.
If you are already a future trainee, you can instead opt-in to receive a £5 Amazon Gift Card instead of the free subscription to...
Hi @Student199825 - I am sorry this is causing you so much stress! I would ask again - Email the department stressing that the page was disregarded at the beginning and ask for reassurance that your examination will not be void. Unless they have proof via the video that you used two, it is...
Hi! You can sign up for email alerts for various agencies - Larbey Evans and Ryder Reid. They are usually not very good at updating their website, but I used to find I got an email about once or twice every week with a new position!

@Ghassen
If the deal is used in relation to 'why this firm' or 'why law', then no more than two sentences up to one-half of a paragraph detailing the deal is my suggestion! Most of that paragraph will want to be devoted to your motivations :)
Hi @Littlemisslawyer,
Great to hear you are actively acting on feedback! It is difficult to know how your analytical skills are developing without having someone observe/offer feedback on your answers, so I would suggest the following courses/activities to help:
Interview Simulator for Gold...
Hi @LLM2022,
Just to add to @Jessica Booker's great advice. It also depends on what you already have on your CV as well. If you feel like you have sufficient experience already to demonstrate your enthusiasm, then there is little reason to pursue only legal jobs. However, it definitely wouldn't...
Hi @Fd321 ,
I had filled my laptop screen with hundreds of mini sticky notes before my first-ever vacation scheme interview... which was a big mistake. I think part of the reason I didn't succeed in that interview was that I had rehearsed all of my answers (partly out of anxiety but also...
Truly excellent advice - @Jake Rickman I wish I'd had your articles when I was applying! You can find them in the Commercial Awareness Forum/Section on the left hand side
Hi @HopefulFutureTrainee123,
I am so sorry you are feeling so defeated by this whole process. I want you, firstly, to know that myself and the rest of this community are here to support you in this journey. That's the beauty of this forum - we truly are all in this together. I hope in some ways...
I think I am neutral on this subject. I remember I did put an upcoming vacation scheme on some applications as I believed it set me apart as a 'wanted' applicant. It depends on how relevant the work experience is and when you are going to complete it, however. If its really near and you may be...
Hi!
I have had friends who have succeeded in direct TC applications at both those firms without a vacation scheme! Definitely not impossible and worth applying if you feel your application/s is/are ready :)

Hi @CorporateCrocodile,
Typically the most in-depth details you can get on law firm deals as applicants are via news channels such as FT or The Lawyer (which unless you specifically have subscriptions via university library channels etc can also be difficult to access).
It is a little bit of a...
Hi!
I applied to Flex Legal in my second year of university looking for a part-time role but was unsuccessful (obviously as I was in full-time academia). They got back in contact when I was just out of university and I have been on their system ever since. I do not believe any experience is...
