I spoke about it today in a case study I was asked. I expressed that investors need to be wary when investing because if this. Interview was happy with my answer. I think as long as you know why you’re saying it and why it’s relevant is okay.

Same!! every single MC firm has rejected me on application yet i've progressed further with a US firm. I have some legal experience, commercial experience, passed university with a high grade and i have a whole list of extracurriculars. What do they want?!?! my left kidney 🫘
Yeah they will get back to us with a pfo lol
nah i'm kidding, gotta be positive! It is annoying as i really like the firm but i am also bad at WG so would've failed that anyway
I think I’ve hit rock bottom…. dreaming of potential interview questions and waking up in a fright🤣I think it’s time to start auctioning my organs…..anyone have insight to Goodwin interview? You’ll have first dibs xox

- Interest rates
- ESG
- Private equity changes (fundraising and structuring)
- UK election + international conflicts
These are the only ones I could think off the top of my head!
When expressing why you want to work for a US firm what do you guys say/suggest is good? I’m struggling to make the firm stand out and I don’t want my answer to sound like it could be for any US firm…
@Jessica Booker any suggestions:)
Niceee! It is super hard for international students I really do envy you all :)
i’ve had my fair share of frustrating rejections HSF comes to mind. Why tell someone they passed the test only to decline them of an AC😭
good going applying for Travers again! This is my 3rd application to HL this...
I would rather "A black Linkedin influencer" get an AC over an average oxbridge candidate or someone who complains about a minority getting an opportunity :)
I applied in October.
I was put through for CMS, Simmons and Lloyds bank, I only proceeded with CMS and Simmons, Was rejected from CMS on Monday and i had an AC with Simmons yesterday. You only do an AC for Simmons if you want a TC consideration after the internship.
Hey Guys,
Quite late documenting my journey but i thought it'd be better than on the forums!
I am a recent law graduate from a Non RG, I am currently in a graduate job. This is my first cycle and I decided to apply for TC/VS opportunities in late September.
