No but I'll be honest, I think it's pretty hard to not convert a VS to a TC because you are there in person so as long as you are punctual and engaged, you should be good! Although there are obvs people who don't convert but since A&O has to fill 80 places, I imagine your chances are higher than...
I spoke with GR and they don't do that at A&O and most other firms. Usually, they have a set amount of people they give ACs to, maybe 30, and then they would probably hope that 22 make it through. But, let's say it is only 15 - what they usually do is hope that there will be better people in the...
How do I respond to the question? Where do I see myself in 5 years at the firm?
I'm only in my final year of university and even if I am lucky to start my TC in Sep 2025, I wouldn't even be 25 years old 5 years from now so what more can I say than hopefully a junior associate working globally...
That's unrealistic.
They likely have a winter, spring and summer scheme so they will probably aim for 30-35 per scheme and leave 10 spaces remaining for direct training contract ppl
I applied on the deadline day last year and made it to the final interview but i personally think you should allocate yourself as much time as possible.
I think there's no harm in ringing up/ emailing if you are truly curious. Although, I would assume that your feedback report gave you an idea right? At the top it said how we all performed in the verbal/ numerical sections. And, don't quote me, but I have heard that if you received an under...
Hey for cover letters do you guys put your address? I am applying for Slaughter and May and I feel like it's kinda pointless to put my address since they can already work that out from my education section and there's already a limited word count.
White & Case let me through to the next stage...
Can someone please explain the NRF application process for a WVS? On their sight they say it's just a CV and reasons why you want to be there but other forums are saying there is a WG and some people are saying there is a psychometric test. I don't want to do any WGs for WVS so can someone clarify?
Nope! I don't remember where I saw it but I have it in my notes that we are meant to start hearing from Oct 9th (tomorrow). I can't find on their website where I got that date, so it must have been said by a grad recruiter when I attended one of their events/ the Legal Cheek fair.
Luckily...
Tbf, there is no way to "pass" a SJT. You need to align with their values so maybe you missed some key qualities they were looking for? But, well done for putting all the work in and I am sure you will get a VS soon!
