Hey Guest, leading international law firm BCLP is live right now in the forum! This is a perfect opportunity to ask any questions you have to the recruitment team. Ask a question here!
apply to VS anyway - ideal situation is you apply to VS having done the open day, using experiences of the day in the app.
either way apply to VS regardless - the worst case scenario is you're in the same situation you are in right now - no VS offer.
Agree w/ Jessica above - could easily be a mistake - these tests are so rubbish imo.
However using the twisted logic of WGss, it could follow.
So obviously, you're supposed to only take what the WG as fact - no outside knowledge.
So depression also = personal battle
If someone has...
You receive an invite to the AC (to my knowledge none have gone out yet)
The SJT is not pass/fail its just about embodying the qualities/competencies they are looking for in a prospective trainee.
Hey just wondering if anyone knows of a list of law firm application date starts.
Easy to find deadlines, but I want to know what date they actually start accepting applications on.
Depends when you applied (e.g. friday at 7pm you won't get it till monday)

as commenter above mentioned, average age of qualification is late 20s/early 30s

You need to continue the degree. A dropped out of course is worth zero and even if you only scraped a pass it's worth infinitely more.
Getting a TC is a marathon not a sprint.
It's always worth it to continue a course!
It's hard to...
yes agree, most likely PFO but they haven't done all rejections yet to hedge themselves if something shambolic happens with written ACs bc i did see someone on here get a PFO post written assessment and we still have nothing - but in these things i prefer to be cynical rather than optimistic as...
I got same email but honestly think it's still PFO bc why would we not be in the initial rounds of invites for written assessments etc.
I'd love to be proven wrong though.
same boat and seeing as in person interview invites have gone out and some of us haven't been given written exercise invites, i think it's a done deal unfortunately.
This is quite an open ended question as the economy is large and disparate.
I would second the FT, it will take a while to start following the major threads of discourse surrounding the economy (most relevant to you will probably be, inflation/interest rates, m&a activity and any competition...
