I am a future trainee at Fried Frank and I am currently an application reviewer at TCLA.
During the application cycle, I applied to primarily US firms. After no application progressions in my first year, I turned to TCLA. Through their support, I went on to secure vacation schemes at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius and Winston & Strawn, before accepting a training contract at Fried Frank!
I joined TCLA to give back to this community. TCLA has been so important in me securing a training contract and, knowing how tough the process can be, I wanted to give back my insights.
In terms of a little bit about me, although I was born in the UK, my family are from Sri Lanka. I moved from Sussex to London when I was 11 and haven’t left London since, having gone to UCL. Now used to the busyness of this city, I don’t think I could ever go back!
