Really sorry to hear that. May I ask was this for the Summer Internship and what stage did you get to if you don't mind sharing?DLA Piper PFO 👍
(applied on the 6th September)
It was for the summer vacation scheme and it was just the application stage 🤷🏽♀️Really sorry to hear that. May I ask was this for the Summer Internship and what stage did you get to if you don't mind sharing?
congrats!! when did you complete the WG?I hope everyone is enjoying the festive period!
I have just received my CMs VI invite and I wanted to ask those who have done it how they found it and what a good way to prepare would be.
Thank you!
I personally would probably *not* name drop other firms - it feels a bit shady calling it out that directly, and ultimately the focus is on Latham, not the other firms. I just namedroppped a few for demonstrative purposes because knowing what other firms do/don't offer is helpful to figure out what you can say about Latham to show you understand their USP.Thank you, this is so helpful. It is often difficult to know where to start but this has provided a really useful structure! So I guess they are expecting you to actually name-drop other firms given the comparative element of the qu?
Hey, they'll respond with either a rejection or invite to an interview with GR. Not sure how long this usually takes but I completed my online test (and got the report) a few weeks ago.Hey everyone! Just got the BCLP online test feedback report, but it doesn't say anything about whether I proceeded onto the next round of the application. Am I supposed to get another email regarding this? Does anyone else have a similar issue? Please let me know if anyone has any answers. Thank you!
Unfortunately I don’t know the answer - sorry I can’t be of more help.@Jessica Booker
Hi guys - does anyone know if Sidley Austin accept summer vac scheme applications from final-year law students (this isn't made entirely clear on the firm's website)?
I attended a session with graduate recruitment earlier in the year and they made it clear that they’re not expecting you to name-drop other firms. I’d say just convey in your answer how Latham differentiates itself and why that appeals to you.Thank you, this is so helpful. Fairly confident that Latham is non-rolling.Do Latham & Watkins recruit summer vac scheme candidates on a rolling basis? I am planning to apply to them but I don't know if I am way too late. The app deadline is 2 Jan 2022.
Thanks! I completed the WG on the 11th of Decembercongrats!! when did you complete the WG?

I was always under the impression it was rolling, but must have misread/got mixed up with another firm. Definitely welcome news that it's non-rolling! So I'm guessing no-one who has applied has had an outcome yet (since the deadline hasn't yet passed)?Fairly confident that Latham is non-rolling.
Just checked and their Chambers Student profile says non-rolling.I was always under the impression it was rolling, but must have misread/got mixed up with another firm.
