Speculative applications

Hi,

I am looking to gain experience at a high-street or boutique law firm in London over the summer. Does anyone know any firms in the area willing to take students on who speculatively apply for work experience?

I know one place that takes applications all year round but it is only for family law and you have to show that you are interested in it. There are a few others that I know of but again they are boutique family law and private client. PM me if you want the details.
