Osborne Clarke- VS question scope

I wanted some thoughts on what the following question is asking in terms of scope:

'What work has OC done recently that is of particular interest to you?'

I'm having trouble working out how wide I could go with 'work'- the obvious is to jump to a case or a deal they recently conducted, but I don't feel I would have enough to talk about to relate it to myself.

Do you reckon talking about a report they have published, or a talk they gave would still count?

I would focus more on the work the firm has done as a core of the answer as it is really trying to get you to demonstrate why the firm’s work is going to interest you as a trainee. But I think it is fine to reference a journal or event if you are explaining how that links back to the firm’s work.

Thank you for the response! In my research today I picked out a case I was actually interested in. Just need to stretch it to the 500 word mark lol

You could focus on multiple aspects of the work for this answer - I don’t think you need to talk about one matter on its own.
