What stood weird to me is that someone here asked the grad rec team of a&o shearman whether they're considering graduates for their vac schemes to which they replied that they're not. But I've already applied to their winter vacation scheme and also received online test + interview invite which...
Does anyone have any idea whether graduates can apply for winter vacation schemes? I've been hearing they can't anymore, but how does that work for firms like sidley austin which only recruit trainees from their vacation schemes. So, does that mean that once you've graduated without a contract...
I am not sure, the deadline was on 28th June so it's highly unlikely. But is there anyone from last year or vacation scheme at macfarlanes who progressed to the next level after sjt? If there is, please share your strengths
To anyone who passed the online sjts for Macfarlanes and was selected to the next stage, what were your strengths and weakness. I am very confused about mine. I got personal responsibility, drive and credibility as my strengths and learning agility as my weakness- are these bad?
Thank you! I just hate it when they include numerical element in the test as well. How long was the numerical element and how long long did it take you to complete the entire online assessment?
Can anyone who has taken the BCLP online exams confirm how it is like? It has situational strengths test, critical and verbal reasoning that I know, but who is the provider? Is it cappfinity or Watson glasser or something else? Plus is there a video element or numerical reasoning as well?
For those who have taken the mayer brown tests already or those who knows does it have numerical reasoning as well? Even though the email stated that it is just verbal reasoning and situation-based.

Has anyone taken the mayer brown tests? Do they have vi element and how was your experience? Was it too hard? Asking because I received an invite after app and the practice tests I did were kinda easy and I don't buy that the actual tests would be that easy.
That's what I don't get. If they're automatic shouldn't we be getting them right after we apply? Or maybe a day later max ? Idk it's been a week for mine. Also since they're rolling, I'm wondering whether they chose to not send out invites anymore. Any insight on this from anyone will be helpful
Has anyone heard back from mayer brown after application? I haven't received the automatic test yet and idk why? Is there anyone e who applied on 20th March like me or later and received the test invite?
Does anyone have any idea when mayer brown's ac is supposed to take place. Can't find any timeline on their website. Also is it wise applying for a dtc with little legal experience. I worked as a legal advisor twice but both were at my uni's legal advice clinics. Does it count as sufficient...
