    I’m sorry this happened - but you shouldn’t give up or be too hard on yourself. It’s difficult to even get to this step so be proud of that. Sometimes it just comes down to luck more than anything else. Do they give any feedback on what you can work on or improve?

    Did you go to the discovery day? I imagine they potentially are fast tracking those who went to the discovery day as those candidates have been shortlisted already and have been met and had exposure to the firm. That would at least be my thoughts

    Over 30 also - got an AC - I wouldn't;t give up, having built a career external to law, and spoken with lawyers it is never to late - also making partner doesn't mean you have to get into law before 30, some never make partner - everyone's path is different

    Same - PFO without submitting an application. I think it's automatic if you don't complete the app. I started but because of the open day apps I got app fatigue. Plus I only really want 1 firm 🤷‍♂️
