Hi Marcus, do first year grades matter when applying to TCs? How much would they impact an application, given that many students who perform really well in first year may not always do well in third year and those who perform poorly in first year may end up excelling by the end of their degree...- Aspiringlawyer26

Hey Jessica, I'll give you a module breakdown: 63 tort law, 67 contract law, 56 public law. The average would be a low 2:1, if criminal law was excluded. Will my first year grades be taken into consideration for TC's or vac schemes too?- Aspiringlawyer26

Hi Jessica , I hope you are well! I wanted some advice regarding applying to vac schemes this year. I haven’t performed as well on my first year exams as I hoped and averaged a 2:2.
