Hi all, I’ve got a 2-week vac scheme coming up and was wondering if that’s long enough to consider asking to do any pro bono work/ or see what they do?
Is this a good idea? I know pro bono isn’t core to any firm’s business, but would be interested in any views on this?
Does anyone know if the commercial exercise at Fried Frank is a group exercise?
I read that on Chamber Student, but on the email from them it just says 'commercial exercise with two associates'. Thanks!
I have a few q’s about this if anyone knows by the way, it seems like quite a unique assessment.
Does anyone know how it’s split into sections, or the preparation time for the VI questions? Thank you!
I didn’t convert after sitting in tax last year too but I think that’s because I was disappointed to be there and maybe that came across.
But I was silly to be disappointed really. This is a 1 or 2 week experience which is so short. It’s not a career in tax and as long as you’re in the right...
If I’m honest, I don’t think they will be sending them in batches as interviews start on 10th June. You never know. Just I’m not really one for false hope.
