Hi. I reached out to grad rec at AG for an update and they told me that ACs were running from January to March, which I assume means there will be more than one AC timeslot, so I wouldn't assume PFO until you actually get a response. It could just be that you may end up invited to the later AC...
For anyone who is stressing still waiting to hear back from AG post-VI like myself, I reached out to the early careers team for an update and got the following reply:
"I hope you are well and thank you for your email.
Our assessment centres run from January to March, and we currently do not...
Hi. I know this was a year ago but did you end up hearing back from AG and when? I’m in the same position this year, did my VI on jan 6th but have yet to hear anything whereas some people who did their VI later than me on the 11th Jan have heard back last Friday (17th Jan). Is it safe to assume...
Congrats! That's a pretty quick turn around so I should probs mentally prep myself for the PFO lol 😭 Hoping I hear back on Monday tomorrow because the long wait is frustrating.
Yeah it happens. Happened to me with BCLP. Got as far as the AC in one cycle, just to be rejected post-app the next. This was extremely bizarre considering how encouraging they were for me to apply again lol and my application was much better than the first time round 😭 I sometimes really doubt...
Thanks. Must have been a very competitive cycle I assume since you made it right to the end without an offer? At least you know you have what it takes to try again though.
To anyone who has passed through to an AC following a VI for AG, or any firm, how long did you have to prepare for the AC after finding out? I'm hoping its at least a week in between.
With that many apps you're bound to get a positive response from at least one lol. I've only applied to 5 firms within the last 2 years and the furthest I got was a VI with DLA Piper 😭
From what I've read on previous year threads for AG, those who heard back within the same week of the deadline i.e. by 10th Jan, seemed to coincide with going through to the next stage. Not certain it is always going to be the case tho lol.
Thanks. Can I ask if you were successful in proceeding to the next stage (assessment centre)?
Because I read somewhere on a different thread that someone was told 4 days after their voice interview that they were successful. So I’m just wondering whether there is a link between the timeline that...
Hi,
I recently completed the voice interview (6th Jan) and was wondering what a typical waiting time is to hear back regarding the next stage (AC).
Many thanks
Hi. Thanks for this insight. I’m due to start the SQE LLM course at BPP in a week and foolishly did not anticipate the amount of pre-reading and LLB recap that needed to be done! Please could you share the links to the ULaw books you used to cover the underlying law subjects? I’m about a week...
