Has anyone heard anything post-app from Travers Smith yet? Assumed we would have heard about the next round by now as it's less than 1 month until their scheme starts.
Has anyone done the Legal Cheek Winter Vac Scheme, or have any details on if it's worth doing for trying to obtain a TC?
Legal Cheek run it in collaboration with 16 reputable firms across 5 days. Idk how that would be structured and if it would give you enough exposure to any 1 firm so that it...
I think someone in here received one last week. I tried reaching out asking them for a rough time frame and if the AC was virtual or in-person. As some of us have to book time off work with notice, flights, accommodation etc.
They replied back to me, but all they said was that all applicants...
Hi Guys,
I recently found out that a major international firm has been denying I completed a vac scheme I attended a few years ago in one of their offices abroad. (this vac scheme programme runs without any TC considerations for those who attend)
Do recruiters typically do background checks...
Was that for AC invites? Or just for notifying all candidates the outcome of their application?
Unfortunately in my experience if you're waiting +5 days later than other people for an AC invite, you're most likely waiting on a PFO. Firms usually hold off on issuing PFOs incase any AC invites...
I can't imagine AC offers are rolling no. Nothing typically is after the application stage. Is the AC virtual? If they aren't in-person I'd assume even less so. Do you know how many slots they have available? As it looks like AC offers themselves are still being slowly rolled out.

Did anyone receive this email in early October? I received mine on the 2nd and idk if that's a positive, negative, or simply random that mine was being reviewed at a later...
If you're applying to them directly yes (I work for Baker and we use BM often). However, if you're describing previous experience you've done with them for another application I'd avoid abbreviations.
Nothing from NRF, I've found that pretty much all non-rolling law firms are taking at least a month to get back With WG or AC information after their application deadline. I think NRF's deadline was the 11th of July? So I'm not expecting to hear from them until mid-August, based on the longer...
I think they're rolling, or at the very least they just screen applicants on a rolling basis since I haven't heard of anyone actually being contacted by them yet. Someone from Addleshaw viewed my LinkedIn profile a couple weeks back, so I'm assuming that was related to my application.
Roughly what should I set as my salary expectations for a paralegal role in London (Tottenham area)? Glassdoor says £27k, but I have about 12 months legal experience and I am completing a masters degree that will give me a specialisation in the role's practice area. Would asking for +£30k be too...
