Been working in FS compliance ever since graduating last year (consulting role).
I'm not enjoying it for a number of reasons, and was thinking how beneficial for TC prospects it would be if I were to pivot to a more “legal” role (think paralegal/in-house legal analyst). My current concern is...
Got a response back and they said that they think that the 150 limit covers everything, but nothing concrete. A bit stuck I can't lie because 150 is not a lot to detail what I did, skills I learned, and then how those skills would be beneficial at TW.
Currently redrafting my CV for DLA Piper’s Summer Internship and am struggling to fit in transferable skills in a way that reads well. I’m not keen on a ‘key skills’ section, but my other approach of just tacking on ‘…, improving/developing [x]’ at the end of bullet points doesn’t read...
Hey all,
Doing some application research profiles and having a bit of trouble with the Legal500 website. I can't access any firm pages, and when I do they are blank (i.e., not showing the bands each firm ranks in for their work).
If I go to the practice area tab all the firms are greyed out...
Filling out the TW VS form and the WE section states to include three skills & how they'll be useful, as well as not going over 150 words for detailing responsibilities/nature of work.
Am I correct in assuming that I should try keep to under 250 overall, and that the 150 cap doesn't extend to...
Just had another query, if you could be so kind as to give your opinion - when linking the reflections to practice, would it be wiser to link it to work experience rather than academics given that the question specifically mentions outside of academics? I'm just find it easier to link those...
Hi all, just started going through applications now and just wanted to confirm I'm along the right tracks. The full question is: 'Please tell us about a personal achievement outside of your academic career and how this has impacted on you personally?'
Am I along the right lines in approaching...
Hi Jessica,
I think the most frustrating thing is that know I should wait rather than assume the absolute worst, but unfortunately it's easier said than done. I noticed that you work in graduate recruitment - how would you look at such a circumstance if a candidate were to have failed a module...
Hi Lisa,
Thanks for the kind words. I think the most frustrating thing is that even though I recognise that constantly worrying and fretting is entirely unproductive (and arguably the least productive thing) it keeps popping into my mind and it's hard to snap out of the absolute panic that...
Absolutely butchered my company law exam and I wouldn't be surprised if I receive a fail given the extent to which I think messed up the PQ. The questions are supposedly equally weighted but I just have this lingering feeling that the extent to which I messed it up will lead them to failing me...
