Hi, I experienced this whilst at the Uni of Law. Because it was the same uni, they give you a 6 week waiver so that you can start the course without yet having the results. Obviously if you are going to a different uni for your LPC than for your GDL this probably won't be the case!
Hi! I had this exact situation happen to me - I pressed backwards on a mac and the whole thing reset. After that I was locked out and couldn’t do anything. I emailed graduate recruitment of the firm and they responded about 3 hours later and just reset the entire test for me! Try not to stress...
Hi LL, I know you asked Jessica but thought you might find this insight useful - I have been invited to 5 ACs this year, 4 for Vac schemes and 1 for direct TC, and all 5 of them have been virtual. I suspect it is likely that a lot of firms are opting for this anyway, so it might not be something...

Thank you for this - I will check out your post! It is interesting to see different perspectives on it and I definitely wrote my initial post in a moment of frustration. I do appreciate that it gives people an opportunity to stand out other than just on paper, and that the recruiters will know...
Just had my last VI of this cycle. I fully understand the benefits of video interviewing from the recruiter's point of view but I just do not think it is fair or possible to assess whether someone is a suitable candidate based off SIX minutes of them talking into a camera. One faulty answer and...
@TCG didn't specify when they heard.. it might have been a while ago and they are just updating the thread now! Don't give up hope
PS @TCG sorry to hear that!
There was a really interesting article on the FT a few days ago about City lawyers and the impact of the Russian sanctions. May help with commercial awareness and challenges facing the legal profession:
