Is it common for spots to open up so you can start your training contract earlier? I would love to start my TC this year or the next as I've done my LPC. I'm due to start in 2025 and the firm said they would let me know if any earlier position opens up but I was wondering how common this is.
Clyde & Co TC offer post-Spring VS!
Thank you all for the help over the past couple of years, this forum has been the most influential when it came to working on my application and interview technique. Good luck to everyone, wishing the best for you all 🤞🏼🥳
Me neither! Wasn't sure if this was feedback on how we could improve for the next application cycle or if they are planning to make calls to give offers because their rejections are via email. Going to have to wait and see, but hopefully we get our answers by this week
If anyone is still waiting to hear from Kennedys, my friend emailed them and they said they are still reviewing feedback and will be updating people shortly
I thought they would let us know by today because I once heard Thursdays are usually the days firms send out offers. I'm starting to feel like we won't hear until next week earliest
Congratulations!! A lot of firms are now completely transitioning to the SQE, I've seen many state that they would require LPC Grads to do the SQE. You're exempt from SQE1 if you've done the LPC but will have to sit SQE 2.
The firm I did a vac scheme for have space for two intakes. They said...
I recently just did a vac scheme, all our socials were either after or between work. We all wore what we were usually wearing on the scheme, didn't change anything unless appropriate footwear was required for certain events. E.g. if going bowling wear flats unless you wanna change in to bowling...
I looked back on the thread and last year they did the the ACs in early March but didn't hear back till late April!
Maybe they're doing the SQE interviews with the partners before handing out offers and PFOs?
I completely agree I felt there wasn't enough time to consume the info and then write out a response that covered everything. But think most people struggled a little with that! Glad your interview went well :)
It was quite different to other assesment centres and I ran out of time during a few of the tasks, but just taking it as a learning experience :) how did you find it?
Thank you for sharing this! Do you mind sharing what the video responses were related to? :) not specifically or anything I was just wondering if this was like an VI question or a SJT scenario?
