CC emailed me this morning saying “I am pleased to confirm that as you previously completed and passed the test within the last two recruitment cycles with us, you do not need to do the test again this year.”
I was under the impression WG are valid only for the same recruitment cycle; ie - You...
It was a normal question I had cuz last year they never sent me the WG and my efforts went to waste :)
I followed up once and I came here to understand if anyone is going through the same thing. I understand your point but this is a forum to help and support :)
I’m so sorry! But the fact that you progressed to that stage is impressive :)
If you don’t mind, can I ask how long did they take to offer you the interview after the test?
It is generally not a good practice sharing VI questions. Simply because a lot of the firms re use the questions for other candidates or maybe even next recruitment cycle :)
It affects the integrity of the process. Obvs types of questions etc is allowed! Good luck!
If a test is not timed and I took an hour and 30 minutes to complete it, would that be an issue? Not sure if grad rec can see how long I took?
I had technical difficulties.. Any insights would be appreciated :)
Thanks Isabel :) Appreciate the insight!
One last question - With a rolling deadline, when would you say is the right time to apply? but also ensure the application is perfect.
Hi Isabel,
Thanks so much for doing this! I noticed that BCLP has a generous word count of 500 for the application questions.
How would you suggest we structure our answers to ensure that they’re focused on the question and remain concise?
Thanks again! :)
Hi guys! Can you please advise me on how to approach this question
“Please use this space to explain your interest in pursuing a legal career at a city law firm, and your interest in X firm.”
How do I answer the city law firm part along with why law? Any advice on how to manage the word...
Hi @WillkieGemma , I hope you're doing well!
I had a quick question:
I completed an internship at a Tier 1 law firm in India. When discussing this in my "Why Law" or "Why Willkie" answers, do I need to specifically mention the name of the firm and provide details about them, or is it...
I disagree! I applied with 3 2:2s in my first year and got through to interview with Jones Day!
Have a strong application overall and you should be good.
There are totally three questions instead of the usual cover letter and extra-curricular questions. They have introduced a recent commercial development question along with why Skadden and the career one.
