It would certainly be harder but I don't think that should stop you, I know people who have gotten TCs without having done a vacation scheme at all. However, some sort of law related experience would be necessary I think, to show you know what you're getting into and show commitment to law.- Jen E C

Perhaps instead of focusing on the outcome of the AC, you could view it as an opportunity to improve the 'thinking on your feet' aspect that you don't feel as confident with, particularly as you are content with having DLA. I think blind CV just means they don't see your name, grades and uni. Not necessarily your cover letter and the answer to the questions.- Jen E C

I think it's quite firm dependent. CMS encouraged me last year to apply again this year after I reached AC, whereas Macfarlanes said at the open day you should wait a few years if you reached AC. Jones Day, on the other hand, discouraged applying again if you reached interview unless your...- Jen E C

Is anyone able to provide some insight into the White & Case interview? In the past it seems to have been heavily based on the application form, which I wonder whether or not is still the case as the email invite states they will not have a copy the application form in front of them.- Jen E C
