Work has been crazy and I haven’t had a chance to record my Irwin Mitchell VI yet 🤦🏼♀️
I received the email on Wednesday 1st December and it says I have to complete it within 7 calendar days. Dumb question, but is this a tomorrow (Tuesday), or Wednesday deadline?
If the deadline is tomorrow...
Hey, thanks!
this is the first year IM have used a capp test so I had no idea how to prepare either. It’s a sjt with a short WG at the end if I remember correctly. The only advice I have is just answer them honestly, not how you think they want you to answer. Maybe have a read over the firm...
Did a little (massive) happy dance at work today, got through to the VI for Irwin Mitchell! First ever app I’ve managed to get past the app stage in 3 cycles 😅🙈
any advice would be massively appreciated! I also thought they were non-rolling so a little surprised to have heard back so early!
Took a much needed break from everything application related and trying to hit the ground running this cycle!
Applied to Linklaters for the third time yesterday, I guess I just love the feeling of rejection :')
A non-law Q but has anyone heard back at all from Disney? I wasn't eligible to apply for the graduate legal internship but I've ben waiting on another role for 7 weeks now 😅 I don't know if grad rec just like to take their time or if the silence is a pfo
Thanks, the 90s sounds like the best decade to have been looking for a training contract! :')
Definitely applying again, I went to a careers event and one first year trainee said they applied to the firm for 8 years before they got in! It's just tough to keep applying but we'll get there!
PFO from Irwin Mitchell London office, gutted about this one! This is my second cycle applying to them, I even had my app reviewed by someone at the firm and they gave it the green light :/
I didn't apply to many vac schemes this year but I still haven't managed to get past app stage in 2 cycles 😅
Another non vac scheme question (sorry!) but anyone that's applied to Disney for anything before, how did you put your degree 'GPA' on the form? not sure whether to convert my undergrad to the rough GPA equivalent or just leave it off the form?
