There was a small minority of applications I never heard the outcome of, to be honest. If it's been 8-10 weeks after the deadline for applications has passed, I would proceed on the basis of the assumption that it's probably a no from the firm.
@manchester12 thank you so much for sharing this! Your ability to reflect on your experiences and pick out what stood out the most is fantastic- this will hold you in great stead as a commercial lawyer and beyond!
I think finding a 'dream' firm or a 'dream' job can pile on pressure on a process that is already quite stressful because it comes with an expectation of perfection with it. It may be healthier for you to approach making TC applications as an opportunity for to venture into a career in...
Highly recommend disconnecting from law apps, law-related social media and pursuing things outside of being an aspiring solcitor. For me, this was painting, and in the two weeks that I waited to hear back from firms, I littered my house with some utterly awful art as a way to distract myself...

I'd say 'why you' is a really good place to demonstrate what you think makes you stand out from the pool of applicants. Disclaimer- this will likely be the toughest section to write because it requires some serious introspection about your character traits that define who you are as a person...

Why commercial law?
Why this firm?
Why should we hire you?
Tell us about a time where you had to balance a range of...
