I don't know if you've tried it but the how2become critical thinking book from amazon (green one) is great. I bought it after @Alice G couldn't stop going on about it and I'm so glad she did :D. It explains how to do better in critical thinking so you can properly learn from your mistakes- bethbristol

I think the issue here is it seems to be taking quite a snooty approach. If they’ve know they struggle with a 3 person team then they should hire some more, people spend so much time writing applications that they will be severely put off applying again if they can’t even be bothered to reject...- bethbristol
