I am currently doing the PGDL at BPP because my firm sent me there but I think I would have preferred ULaw. I am based in the London campus and there are quite a few issues, however I have friends at ULaw who have issues as well so it is a difficult choice. What I would consider is where the...
I personally would email them with this information since the grade is on your transcript. I am sure it will not impact your chances but it is just best to upfront about these things rather than just be caught afterwards. So, my advice is always be upfront when it comes to disclosing important...
I would not worry too much about this, chances are they will not even notice so do not dwell on it and I am sure you wrote an amazing personal statement.
Things like these happen all the time so do not panic and be hopeful!
Good luck with the application!
I think that I personally would consider a rejection since they have been offering vacation schemes since November but never say never, they might be waiting and compare applications and candidates.
I personally would say to wait, no news is good news at this point so just be a little patient...
It absolutely does not matter so I would not worry about this. If you get the training contract before starting law school they will fund it for you and send you to the law school they want (this was my case). If you apply during the PGDL then what school you are attending will not matter and...
Paragraph always as you are writing a cohesive and exhaustive answer. Points will not be effective as it will appear as if you did not necessarily develop the answer and so failed in exhaustively answer the question.
You can apply to a training contract whenever you want. If you apply for a vacation scheme or a training contract now, the firm will be able to sponsor you through law school, however, if you apply during the PGDL, then you have to self-fund the course. If you apply to Kirkland now for instance...

Good luck with it and I am sure you will smash it!!

However, to answer your question, you can usually find summarising...
I think that those are quite difficult to prepare but a couple of things that you might want to work on are:
Make sure your commercial awareness and financial understanding is on point. With this, I mean make sure you have a basic understanding of the few business and financial concepts...
having a vacation scheme on your CV is helpful but only if you have already attended it as you will be able to talk about it in-depth. I personally would not mention for two main reasons:
Firstly, you are not going to mention it in your personal statement which means that you probably have...
Congratulations! This is amazing news!
Here are some tips on the forum that might be helpful: https://www.thecorporatelawacademy.com/forum/threads/how-to-prepare-for-slaughter-and-may-interview.314/post-1264...
How much did you go above that? I personally think that it is fine and law firms will read your application even if it is slightly above the word count, especially if it is a personal statement. If it is less than 1000, I think it is fine. I personally would not do anything also because chances...
It is definitely possible to do so and I personally know people who were successful without any legal experience whatsoever. It is just a matter of explaining really well how your past experiences make you the perfect future trainee lawyer at the firm.
