Anybody who hasn't heard from the below?
-Clyde WVS post VI (I am assuming PFO but just to make sure I'm not the only one left hanging)
-NRF Spring VS post app (no WG has been sent to me and I applied 13/11)
-Reed Smith pre-SJT (again applied 14/11) and heard nothing since I submitted the app
Not sure if you can get 100% access to it but practical law has got some very good guides. Most materials are free but if your uni log in allow you to get one, you can find pretty good bulletpoints for mergers
I got my report about 10 days after the VI (which I did on 22/10 for WVS) but still haven't heard a thing about their AC... the feedback report is auto-generated
Don’t know if law firms are interested to find out about the Scorpions but will mention it in extra-curriculars next time ☺️
Woooow your cooking abilities sound amazing! (among everything else). What is your favourite cuisine other than indian to cook?
Yes NRF sponsor the mercedes team and Ashurst are the official legal for Mclaren group and Mclaren racing. I am also interested to see some answers to these questions :) Genuinely have no idea how I would answer this.
I play chess but I am not that good so wouldn't consider it a hobby :) I like all sorts of board games though :D Deffo recommend watching F1 and reading into it, it is more interesting when you know they story behind some teams, the money thrown in and how the strategy in every race can be...
Unfortunately even the “straightforward” applications require extensive research into the firm and even if you find the app easy, you could still get very niche interview questions. I also work full time and find it very difficult to spend hours in research but best practice is to just start...
Thank you so much this is so encouraging! I try to use every single resource on TCLA available (difficult to do everything at once as I work full time) but the community is so helpful and supporting it’s the best motivation. Thank you for taking time to reply :)
Hi James! This is an amazing idea :)
Some of my hobbies/interests - I really enjoy photography and I have been trying to "build" my own freelance photography business for some time now. I have photographed some weddings but I am really proud to say I have photographed some of the biggest rock...
Sorry if this is not the correct forum but I feel so useless and demotivated to even apply. The more I see what TCLA has to offer, the more I feel that I am uneducated and don't really deserve a TC because my applications won't even matter. Anybody else feeling like this?
I have applied 4 times...
I got my VI invite the next day but I saw some other people say it can take up to 5 days to get it.
they give you 3 working days to complete it :) Hope this helps and good luck!
Just did the Clyde & Co VI assessment and could shoot myself in the face. I feel like it didn't make any sense. This is my first VI so not holding out too much hope but would be nice to advance through to the next stage :)
I won't disclose any questions, but it is genuinely something you cannot...
