Very off topic but I am for the first time on the "other end" of an application process where I shortlist candidates and I can't imagine what grad rec have with thousands of applications. Having said that, I also realise how being rejected really doesn't always mean you're not good as genuinely...

Hi, I'm not entirely sure as I am a graduate and that wouldn't apply to me. All I know is that I applied May 2020 and am yet to hear back as they are reviewing them still apparantly which is .. frustrating.
Anyone else still waiting to hear back from Orrick for 2022 intake (applied May 2020)? They said last month that they are reviewing applications now and will let us know this month
Jessica, do you have an idea of why people who have done the LPC need to do the SQE2? As far as I am aware, it is similar to the "skills" part of the LPC (interviewing clients, advocacy, legal research) etc. Why do you think we need to pass this again?
Guys what do you do if a firm has not responded to you but to others? I've chased via email and phone and nothing! (during the phone call grad rec said I should email them which I did right after our call) - do you keep trying or let it go? I find it so hard to let it go considering my efforts...
Mayer Brown PFO post telephone interview. Got to the AC before with a lot less experience and didn't really know what I was doing at the time. On days like today I do not get this process whatsoever. It honestly feels like a game of luck and it's so demotivating. I wish I could know the answer...
