Most firms will look at them but I wouldn’t say you’re wasting time if you meet their minimum requires (2:1 achieved or predicted). There’s only certain firms that really focus on particular modules grades (S&M and contract law spring to mind).

Also take a look at The Chancery Lane Project - you could get some volunteering experience either through assisting with drafting climate change precedents or taking part in hackathons. You can then align that experience with why commercial law.
