Sorry if this is linked in somewhere obvious but i remember there being a guide/tips application thing for direct TC apps and would be grateful if someone could link it here for me :)
edit: literally found it the second after posting this lol its this link if anybody else wants it too...
wondering if anybody here is applying for direct tc without having done a vac scheme/a vac scheme lined up for the summer? is there anything you do differently to demonstrate your career commitment/interest in commercial law? bc I'm wondering if it is worth it to send direct tc apps at all...
oh what? last i checked the deadline was 4th of feb and a few people did TI's in the last couple of weeks. maybe they extended it!
edit: just checked and the website still says the deadline is 4th of feb - am i getting something wrong here? 😅
aah a firm told me they'd get back to me early this week to let me know the outcome of my interview - is it okay to email them now or is it still (in firm time) not yet late this week?
for my A&O AC my feedback was that i shouldve reflected back on my experiences when trying to answer the questions (it was a scenario based interview for context) so I'm not sure but i guess it wouldn't hurt to refer back to previous experiences?
thanks! do you think its okay to ask the recruiter about this before the interview? i overthink a lot and don't want answer length to mess up my chances..
for telephone interviews - do you keep your answers short? Mine says its about 15 minutes and I'm wondering if that's just a rough time and might go over 15 minutes or should i try and keep my answers very short to stick to the 15 mins?
if in an interview when they ask "introduce yourself to me in 60s" i was wondering what kind of things would one include? should it be more personal (i.e personal attributes, hobbites, etc) or more achievement/career based (awards, career interests/achievements, etc)?
