I am due to start the SQE next year with Ulaw, sponsored by a Firm amd had a few questions. has anyone had any experiemce of studying the SQE with Ulaw?
How difficult did you find the SQE in general? are there any tips on preparing in advance? as its been a while since my law degree...

still cant believe this but I got the TC! I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who posted words of encouragement in response to my original post, I was so unsure if I would even be considered and if you hadnt taken the time out to encourage me I may have not even applied!

Honestly getting a big 4 training programme is a phenomenal acheivement! and when you do apply imagine how unique and valuable that would look on your application.

Out of curiosity has anyone applied for and got a vac scheme whilst being employed at another firm? how did your employer handle it? as there could be conflicts and clauses in employment contracts that could restrict being able to do so
Thanks i will have to think about it. my main reason for going for the LPC was to open up the opportunity to apply to smaller firms that want you to have the lpc.
but i suppose in s few years theyll want you to have the SQE so is there any point doing the LPC like you said.

Apologies for the long post, I was trying to make the point that you can progress on to better roles after getting the first one.
definitely apply for any relevant positions even if they say they prefer the lpc and reach out to agencies. a lot of people dont have legal work...
