Not necessarily practice assessments, but there is some useful general advice/guidance here:

They are effectively the same thing - they should both be asking you to provide past examples of how you have demonstrated a skill or behaviour. Behavioural questions maybe more about attitude rather than skill though (e.g. determination is a behaviour but time management is a skill/competency)...
There can be a range of reasons why someone is made an offer before others or why offers maybe staggered over a period of time. It is not uncommon for offers to be made across multiple days (or even weeks), and so I wouldn't make an assumptions as to why this is happening.
The offers calls are...
I wouldn’t say an interview/assessment centre is, only really if you hold an offer that you can really ask for a process to be expedited.
Have the first choice firm given you an indication of when you will hear back? If not, you can always email them and ask when you will hear back and explain...
By this cycle, I mean the 2024-25 recruitment cycle which will start in the autumn.
Once you have your second year grades you could consider applying for direct training contracts or wait until the autumn and apply for vacation schemes as a finalist.
You can develop some knowledge through...
You can mention this to the Graduate Recruitment/HR team and ask what else you could have done beyond asking people each day for work, as it sounds like there potentially could have been more you could have done within the department you were allocated. It can often not just be about tasks but...
You could wait, but that will then be for a later recruitment cycle (most likely starting in 2027/2028 rather than 2026/27. So a big question would be if you are willing to wait that additional year?
I am also not sure what the firm's reapplying policy is. If it is that you can apply once per...
Most winter schemes are designed for finalists or graduates, so you may have found it difficult to apply for many of them even without the grades.
As you are averaging below a 2.1, many firms will not consider you for vacation schemes for this cycle, but if you got your grades up in subsequent...
No - they don’t have to fill all the spaces. Because of the time lag it’s easy for them to make later offers, even in the next cycle if needed. But some firms operate reserve candidate lists or keep candidates on hold while they wait back to hear from candidates accepting or declining.
it’s technically breach of contract and so they could pursue you for that.
But the reality is there is no value in them doing so. They can find a replacement at little/no additional cost to them and the process of seeking costs from you would be far too time consuming and costly for them...
No - you just need to be prepared for them to ask which firm you will be joining and/or what might have made you select that firm over them. You don’t have to provide them with this information up front, but they may ask you.
Call them first. It will be far better to speak to someone than rely on email and you can have a reasonable conversation regarding it.
When you then follow up with an email, you just have to state you are withdrawing your acceptance for Job Title to start date TC starts.
I would give it until Wednesday next week (17th July) and if you haven’t heard anything by then, contact them via email asking if they could provide any approximate timescales as to when you may hear back.
You don't need a qualifying law degree to sit the SQE. You just need a Batchelors degree level qualification in any degree subject (no matter what the grading). So this will not be an issue.
Have you been given any details of what the written exercise consists of? There are lots of different formats so practice assessments can be quite tricky unless your told the purpose of the exercise (eg drafting vs attention to detail).
I don’t think there is a type of question as such. It is more about asking genuine questions about the opportunity or the employer that will help you work out whether it is the right one for you. Try to think of it this way, what information would you need about the opportunity/working...
Unfortunately there is no clear definition on this. For some firms they mean consistent grades, for others it means at least a middle of the 2.1 range or above.
