I also think it is important to pick the right firm. If you have a convincing narrative as to why you have chosen them, and why they should choose you, it becomes a lot easier to write a good application that can get you past the first round. I just did Hogan Lovells' Watson Glaser test....I found it quite a bit harder than other firms WG's - did anyone else feel like that? Do they provide WG scores on request?- Camilla

Sorry to hear that! I think the stress of trying to do well in a VI when you are being filmed in such an unnatural way makes VI's so difficult. Yea, they send the emails out so fast. It was the same when I applied for the direct TC last year. My friend and I got a test invite a day or two after the deadline. They must filter them somehow because my other friend who applied last year did not get the test invite.- Camilla

Hey! I did it last year. It is a SHL verbal reasoning test. It was my first ever test and I did so badly and was in the 5th percentile lol. I actually find WG tests way easier than pure verbal reasoning tests. I just got the invite too, so need to get practising! There are decent practise...- Camilla

I got to an AC with a firm last July and they told us that they only had two spaces left because they filled them all up from the vac schemes. There were eight of us in the room lol.- Camilla
