Hi, I would advise consulting my article on assessed negotiations if you've not already had a look: https://www.thecorporatelawacademy.com/forum/threads/definitive-guide-to-assessed-negotiations-monday-article-series.3018/
I've never actually come across these tables before! Very interesting read.
Delighted, and also not in the least bit surprised based on my experiences, that Travers sits exceptionally high on both tables too!
Hey Jay,
Hard to say for sure as I've no personal experience of the Debevoise AC. Could be along the lines of a case study, in which case I'd advise checking out my case study article, but could be a variety of tasks. Sorry I can't be of any more help!
LinkedIn discussions can spiral quickly so I'll try get in early!
I personally think there's no harm in posting things (certainly I would be if a firm had encouraged me to); it's never likely to affect your chances of conversion one way or another though.
If you haven't already consulted it, I deal with this quite extensively in one of my recent articles which may help: https://www.thecorporatelawacademy.com/forum/threads/definitive-guide-to-law-firm-interviews-monday-article-series.3286/
Best of luck with your AC!!
If you've unwittingly met the content of another question in your existing answer, it's highly unlikely that you'd be asked the other question in my experience. I've been in this position myself and never had an issue :)
It's also fine to frame these answers differently by thinking about "why...
"Period of recognised training" is just what the SRA call your TC, essentially.
Well, I believe that technically speaking, a TC is one of the forms that a PRT can take, but it's a bit of a "you say potato" thing.
Very well done!
My experience of the NRF AC (successful) was that it was split into 3 parts: an assessed negotiation, an interview (covering strengths, competencies and commercial awareness) with 2 partners, and a written case study.
I would advise consulting a few of the articles I've...
Theyre much simpler and cheaper than traditional floats too. This is because they're essentially a blank canvas, don't need to be marketed and touted around in the same way.

The above article discusses it quite well.
Many congratulations!
Some time between now and the weekend, I'll create a thread discussing my experience of the Travers (virtual) VS with some brief tips for conversion. Obviously can't go into particularly specific details of assessments etc but hopefully this will be of help to yourself...
Hey,
This is a really interesting and very valid question. I agree generally with everything that's been said above.
My biggest single piece of advice is to trust your gut instinct.Ultimately, you're the only one who knows where is right for you and also whether you're able to grind through...
I received confirmation by email, but mine was a PFO so I don't know if they would do phone calls for VS offers. In my experience, most firms are email for VS and telephone for TC.
I wouldn't say this is inappropriate: it's relevant, topical and shows ATD. As long as you feel it's a substantial enough answer and you can justify it fully and properly, I would say that's good to go.
Very interesting position and discussion points!
It will be interesting to see whether BTC retains a place in and of itself or whether it maybe marks a precursor to crypto assets of the future which will take a more centralised approach. As you say, the antithesis of everything crypto was...
This volatility, in my opinion, is highly representative of the current liquidity in that market and its rapid expansion with more and more liquidity from different sources coming into play over the last few years (and 8 weeks in particular). It's also a borderline-unregulated market subject to...
