Apply to as many firms as you can without sacrificing the quality of those applications is normally the best advice - for some people that may be 5 due to the time they have available, for others that may be 30 but obviously, the more apps you send the greater your chances!- Daniel Boden

Yeah, no harm in asking! Prepare as if the video interview is tomorrow regardless but the worst that can happen is that they say no. I had issues with my internet for a week when I had a VI and two firms gave me week extensions so normally firms are amenable to this kind of thing :)- Daniel Boden

Firms will be very aware that candidates have multiple vacation schemes so just explain the clash and politely ask if it's possible to be moved to another scheme? No there's absolutely nothing wrong with that but obviously, in an interview, you'll go into more depth and will likely be asked follow-up questions about those experiences so be prepared to elaborate on them then - hope that helps!- Daniel Boden
