No just explain the circumstances as you have done here and I am sure it will be fine. Might be worth having a phone call with them to be able to properly explain any questions they may have as a follow-up
Haha in all seriousness I can tell you from experience that that's the key with any dissertation! Find something you're genuinely really interested in and then the research/reading is so much more bareable and the high marks will follow! Sure you'll do great mate :D

Why on earth were you not allowed to join the law society?!?!? Given that 50% of training contracts are given to non-law students (give or take) that seems an incredibly backward way of thinking and literally makes 0 sense to me...
Equally, it dramatically reduces the potential for the law...

Tbh I think the way some firms have stepped up in Covid in terms of providing resources to their associates really says a lot about their respective cultures, so it might be an enlightening answer to say the least...

Hahaha very well done! Honestly, if you get the chance at the end of the interview, it might be worth asking what their opinion is of working at the firm and whether they enjoy the work they do and see the response you get 😉
