Completely agree with @j.s.cox - I strongly disliked taking game-based assessments and targeted my applications with this in mind, along with the other factors that mattered to me. There's no need to put yourself through something that you do not enjoy or adds no value to your application process!- AvniD

firms still accepting lpc
I suppose it really should be fine until 2024 and I'm unsure if your self-funded LPC is impacted by a firm's decision to choose the SQE route for their trainees- I think it would still count and your recruitment would not be negatively affected by it!
