Using a combination of legacy notes + tutorial notes + notes from reading will create a fairly exhaustive resource that you can revise from thoroughly. If your exams are open book, then ensuring that using tabs appropriately and marking the pages that you know you'll inevitably need to refer to...

Case study interviews: good things to know!
I agree with Jessica, bringing in CMS here is not necessary at all, unless you feel it is material to how you're choosing to answer the question. Moreover, going into how CMS is implementing the recommendations is a deviation because it doesn't answer what the question is asking. Purely focusing...
It's so nice to see how consistent you are with your updates 👏
Particularly impressed by the interview skills session and personal impact session that they had for you. They seem so unique! I do hope you consider using TCLA's interview question bank to help prep those situational judgment and...
Congrats on submitting your Bristows application and for getting through to the next stage of Bird & Bird! 👏
A rejection not affecting you as much as it did in the past is indeed personal growth (or the application process making you numb 😅)! Jokes apart, if you're able to take a rejection and...
I think either would work well! Ensure you focus on the legal issues that may arise in these sectors in the next 5 years, rather than the short term or longer term. Let me know if you have any other questions!
I completely empathise- LLM personal statements can be hard to draft because you sort of have the freedom to write about anything you want but still need to follow a structure of sorts that hits all the right points. I am linking a post I'd made here which has another post linked within it with...
Hi @Maarji! Are you sure this is not the application platform rather than the tests themselves?
If the portal does contain tests, have you been told what they entail? I will link resources accordingly!
I would list them with short descriptions (less than 50 words) of where the event was held and what it was about and if you participated in any notable activities (negotiation exercise, drafting exercise etc).
I would disclose each and every result on its own with our converting it unless the application form specifically asks you to do this, in which case I would contact grad rec and ask them how best to proceed/which conversion system to use in case they have a preference. This is not at all an...
I think you can definitely talk about cooking and travelling and what these bring to your life and how you pursue them. They show a bit of your personality and that's always a sure-shot way to distinguish your application! But as Jess said, mentioning these alongside your extracurriculars at...
Hi @RJ29! Really well done on creating this thread- this is a big step in keeping yourself accountable in your journey to securing a TC 👏 👏 👏
I think the steps you've listed to improving your AC performance all make sense. Big fan of the flashcard question bank and recommend using this resource...
Really good question and you are on the right track, restricting the export of manufacturing equipment could slow down the supply of microchips overall. Whether this makes it more expensive to produce microchips remains to be seen, but it definitely would make it more difficult.
The central...

Completely agree with @j.s.cox - I strongly disliked taking game-based assessments and targeted my applications with this in mind, along with the other factors that mattered to me. There's no need to put yourself through something that you do not enjoy or adds no value to your application process!
I suppose it really should be fine until 2024 and I'm unsure if your self-funded LPC is impacted by a firm's decision to choose the SQE route for their trainees- I think it would still count and your recruitment would not be negatively affected by it! Tagging @Jessica Booker for a second opinion!
Congratulations @jennifer! This is massive 👏 👏 👏
Direct TC ACs can be a bit more intense that other ACs because it's likely the first time you're interacting with the firm, which may create some sort of pressure to make the best use of the 'one shot' you've got. This is totally normal if it...
