I thought that legislation such as Basel II and Basel III did address some of the issues fairly significantly? E.g. with the minimum amount of capital that banks now have to hold? Ultimately, you have to do absolutely what is right for you and what will benefit your career (sadly other people won't do it for you if you won't) so definitely look to make those connections and see where it takes you! Just to caveat these experiences with my own on an in-person vac scheme - we were all effectively 'forced' out the door at 6pm to go home haha so I do think the fact people are working from home and that blurring of the 2 lines has meant that people are working crazier hours than ever before...- Daniel Boden

On working in the US
I'm not sure it would because I don't think a BA is usually a qualifying law degree whereas the LLB is? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that's what my LLB mates have said in the past - @Jessica Booker could you confirm?- Daniel Boden
