The only interaction I had with the firm was a link day organised by my university in their Leeds office. Authentically showcasing your motivations for the firm is more important than having tons of interaction in my opinion.
Application wise it’s two very short 200 or 250 word questions (I don’t remember exactly) so focus on conciseness and cut the fluff that doesn’t relate much to your motivations for joining the firm. If you keep it simple concise and impactful you should do great!

Really appreciate this and your reply as well @Jessica Booker. My only concern was that the vac scheme was starting on the 25th November so was wondering if it is common to let people know 2-3 weeks before the vac scheme starts or if they usually let everyone know much sooner.
When would it be appropriate to ask the grad team for an update post AC considering it’s been one and a half weeks and most people from the AC have heard back with an offer or rejection? Would it even be worth it to email them at all?

I didn’t realise that DLA Piper shortlist even after you have passed the VI. Definitely a unique experience but hopefully most who manage to pass the VI also get the AC.
This was the case last year too, maybe something in their offer that states they can’t post about it till the VS ends or more likely they don’t use TCLA.
